Summary:
When she has eleven years old, the parents of
Martine die in a blaze. She is sent to live with her grandmother who lives in
South Africa. Martine has never talk and met with her grandmother. She did not
know that she has a grandmother. Her grandmother does not seem at all happy to
live with Martine. Still worse, there seem to be a lot of secrets in his
neighbourhood, and nobody is prepared to tell Martine the truth about her
grandmother.
Comment:
This book is complete and it is a good
story. But, I recommend this book for kid and not for teenager like me. In
summary, I do not like «The White Giraffe».
